Neurosurgeon Needed – 5-Day Holiday Call Block | Level II Trauma Center | Ohio

Location:
Canton, OH

Assignment Type:
Locum Tenens – 1099

Schedule & Dates:
• Dates: 7:00 AM 12/24/2025 – 7:00 AM 12/29/2025
• Schedule: 24/7 inpatient call only (no clinic)
• Single 5-day call block over the Christmas holiday

Practice Setting:
• Community-based Level II trauma center in Northeast Ohio
• Part of a large, nationally recognized health system
• Approximate hospital census: ~250 across the facility
• Epic EMR

Clinical Scope:
• Neurosurgery call covering cranial and spine
• Trauma and intracranial hemorrhage consults
• Spine consults
• No primary admitting responsibilities – hospitalist group and intensivist team handle admissions and ongoing medical management

Support:
• 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage
• Access to higher level of care via streamlined transfer center within the system (neuro ICU and quaternary center available as needed)

Requirements:
• Board-certified Neurosurgeon
• Active Ohio medical license, DEA, and Ohio CSR
• ACLS & BLS
• Minimum 3 years’ post-training experience
• Local candidates only (no travel package)
