Inpatient Emergency Department

Sole community hospital

Trauma Level III

28-bed Emergency Department

Typical community patient population

Supportive staffing model with nurse/APP triage for lower-acuity patients

Orientation & Onboarding:

2-hour onboarding covering EMR and local quality measures

Two shadow shifts following onboarding to ensure a smooth transition

Requirements:

Emergency Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years)

Georgia medical license required

Case logs required

New grads accepted if boarded/eligible

Primary Care physicians with EM experience will not be considered

Credentialing:

Approximately 90 days

Name clear process required
