Aya Locums is partnering with a well-established acute care hospital in Virginia to recruit an Anesthesiologist for scheduled and on-call coverage beginning February 2026. Assignment Overview
• Start Date: February, 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts with call responsibilities
• Shift Timing: Day shifts with flexible start and end times
• Shift Options: 8-, 10- or 12-hour shifts(flexible) • Call Expectations: Weeknight and/or weekend call required (1:10 rotation)

• Specialty: Anesthesiology
• Primary Focus: General anesthesia across adult and pediatric populations
• Case Mix:
– General surgery (adult required; pediatric preferred)
– Cardiac cath lab cases
– Obstetrical anesthesia
– Neurosurgical procedures (head and spine)
– Complex orthopedic and vascular cases (excluding open heart)
• Techniques & Skills:
– Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
– Ventilation management
– Central and arterial line placement

• License: Active Virginia medical license
• Experience: Strong background in general anesthesia; adult cases required
• Availability: Must be open to weekday and/or weekend call coverage
