Family Nurse Practitioner Needed Near Moose Pass, AK
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Credentialing timeframe: Standard clinic credentialing
Contract Length: 23‑week contract (Locum Tenens – 1099); potential option to extend

Schedule

Full‑time outpatient schedule
4 × 10‑hour shifts per week
Schedule:

Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM


Optional call
No overnight shifts


Practice Details

Rural outpatient clinic setting
Primary care and urgent care mix
Patient population: All ages
Average volume: ~12 patients per day
Rural health environment


Clinical Scope


Full‑scope family practice and urgent care


Responsibilities include:

Primary care for acute and chronic conditions
Walk‑in and urgent care visits
Preventive care and follow‑up
Documentation of all patient encounters



Required procedures:

Suturing
Incision and drainage




Requirements

Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice
Active Alaska NP license required
Minimum 2 years family practice and urgent care experience required
Comfortable practicing independently in a rural setting

Clean credentialing file strongly preferred

Credentialing

Clinic credentialing required
Provider must be fully cleared prior to start
