SUMO Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (APP) for a locum tenens opportunity in Frederick, Maryland, with coverage beginning as soon as March 31, 2026. This role offers a short, defined coverage block in a clinic-based setting using Athena EMR.

Position Details-
Coverage Dates: March 31, 2026 and April 1–8, 2026
Patient Volume: 2–3 patients per hour
Patient Population: Ages 2 years and older
Clinic Model-
On-site clinics at local businesses
Some stand-alone clinic locations
EMR: Athena

Scope of Practice-
Family Medicine / Primary Care
Acute care visits
Some Occupational Medicine / Urgent Care exposure preferred

Requirements-
Active, unrestricted Maryland Nurse Practitioner license
DEA in hand
BLS and ACLS required
Experience in Primary Care or Acute Care
OccMed / Urgent Care experience is a plus
CV required in MM/YYYY format with all 30+ day gaps explained (work and education)
