Primary responsibilities include conducting behavioral health assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing short-term therapeutic services to individuals presenting with acute and chronic behavioral health needs. The position requires specialized attention to adjustment-related distress related to incarceration and individuals at risk for suicide or self-harm while maintaining thorough documentation and conducting 10-20 minute medication checks and 20-30 minute initial evaluations.
