Primary Care Physician needed in Downtown Los Angeles, CA

Job description

A clinic in Downtown Los Angeles, California is seeking a Primary Care physician for a locum tenens assignment focused on geriatric primary care. This opportunity involves caring for an elderly patient population with multiple chronic conditions in a value-based care setting.

Assignment details:
• 3 days per week
• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Preference for Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional weekday
• 24 hours per week
• 3-month assignment
• Geriatric primary care
• 10-14 patients per day
• Athena EMR
• Virtual interview with medical director

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• At least 1 year of experience in primary care, advanced primary care, and geriatrics
• HEDIS knowledge required
• Value-based care knowledge required
• BLS
• DEA

• 3 days per week, 8am-5pm schedule
• Geriatric primary care with 10-14 patients per day
• Athena EMR and virtual interview process
