About the clinician's workday

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients requiring mental health treatment in a hospital setting. Primary responsibilities include conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing psychotropic medications for patients with various mental health conditions. The clinician will work Monday through Friday managing 12-14 patients per day while maintaining detailed documentation and participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings. Additional duties include responding to psychiatric emergencies, collaborating with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring coordinated care delivery throughout the inpatient psychiatric unit.
