This facility is part of Connecticut's largest integrated health care system, featuring a physician-managed, multi-specialty group with a network of more than 600 providers. Opportunity:
Physician - Infectious Disease

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient consultations at an acute care medical center
• Manage outpatient office responsibilities including HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
• Assist with the Antimicrobial Stewardship program
• Support infection control activities and hospital epidemiology programs
• Collaborate system-wide with over 20 Infectious Disease physician colleagues
• Participate in post-graduate medical education for residents and medical students
• Eligible for appointment at the Assistant Professor level at Quinnipiac University
• No primary care responsibilities
• Active Hospitalist program in place to support inpatient care
• Shared call arrangement with other Infectious Disease physicians
• Reports to the Division Director of Infectious Disease
• BC/BE Infectious Disease physician licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of CT
