Neurosurgery APP Needed in Greenville, SC

Job description

Assignment Details

* Location: Greenville, SC

* Duration: 26 weeks

* Shift Options: 10-hour (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) or 12-hour (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)

* Call: 1 weeknight and 1 weekend day per call week

* Patient Population: Adults

* EMR: Epic

* Credentialing: 60–90 days

Schedule & Practice Details

* Typically 1–2 MDs and 1 NP in clinic Monday–Friday

* Additional APP coverage 1–2 times per week

* Patients scheduled 9:00 AM–3:30 PM

* Rounds required before clinic

* Patient volume varies

Support Staff

* 6 MDs

* 1 RN

* 4 MAs

Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures

* Inpatient and acute care

* Diagnostic and therapeutic taps

* Surgical care and suturing

* EVD placement

* Lumbar drain placement

* Lumbar punctures

* ICP monitor placement

* Primary surgical management of complex wounds

Requirements

* Board-Certified Neurosurgeon

* Active South Carolina medical license

* Clean background

* No additional certifications specified
