## POSITION OVERVIEW

A full-time **Nurse Practitioner (APRN)** is sought to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary outpatient primary care practice.

The APRN will provide comprehensive nursing and medical care while working closely with physicians, licensed providers, nurses, medical assistants, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

The position emphasizes patient-centered care, health promotion, disease prevention, wellness, education, and positive patient outcomes.

## MULTIDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENT

The provider will collaborate with physicians, licensed providers, LPNs/medical assistants, and clerical staff.

## CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

* **Master's Degree** from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program.
* Current **Vermont APRN License** or ability to obtain.
* Certification as an **Adult, Family, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner** by a national organization recognized by the Vermont State Board of Nursing is highly preferred.
* **Healthcare Provider CPR Certification** required.
* **DEA License** required.
* Qualified for credentialing by the medical staff.
* **Minimum 1 year of professional experience required.**
* Two years of nursing experience prior to obtaining an advanced degree highly preferred.
* Clean malpractice history required.
* Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days.
* Visa sponsorship is not available.
* Candidates must be able to commute within approximately **1 hour**.
* Position cannot be combined with another employment arrangement.
* Locum and locum-to-perm candidates are not accepted.

## COMPENSATION

* **Annual Salary: $120,000–$140,000**
* Compensation is determined based on:

* Experience
* Education
* Internal equity
* Market competitiveness
* Full-time, 1.0 FTE position
* 40 hours per week
* Exempt status

## CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

**Required:**

* Vermont APRN License or eligibility
* Healthcare Provider CPR Certification
* DEA License
* Qualification for medical staff credentialing

**Highly Preferred:**

* National certification as an Adult, Family, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner recognized by the Vermont State Board of Nursing
* Two years of nursing experience prior to advanced degree
