Position Overview:
A growing healthcare practice in Panama City, Florida is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its team.

This position is primarily focused on primary care, with some urgent care responsibilities. The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive care to patients across a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient-focused, and interested in building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and the local community.

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

Perform patient histories and physical examinations

Develop individualized treatment and care plans

Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests

Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions

Manage routine patient follow-ups

Provide chronic disease management

Provide preventive care and health education

Address common urgent care needs

Provide urgent care coverage approximately one day per week

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals as appropriate

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications:
Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Active Florida NP license or eligibility for Florida licensure

Primary care experience preferred

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team

Comfortable treating both acute and chronic conditions

Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
