WHAT YOUR DAY/WEEK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE

This assignment is built more around filling call needs than maintaining a traditional full-time schedule. There are occasional 8- and 10-hour weekday shifts, but the primary need is weeknight and weekend beeper call.

During daytime hours, the anesthesia team includes one physician and three CRNAs. When you're on call, however, you'll function as the solo anesthesia provider. Primary call is active, with callbacks occurring more than half the time and commonly involving add-on cases and overnight epidurals.

🎯 Best Fit

Experienced CRNA who is genuinely comfortable practicing autonomously and has recent OB, epidural, and regional experience to support with case logs. This is especially worth considering for someone looking to add per diem coverage rather than commit to another full-time assignment.

📍 Geographic Hook

Marion sits in western North Carolina near the Blue Ridge Mountains, making this an interesting option if you like having the outdoors nearby between shifts. Asheville is within reach, while the immediate area gives you a quieter home base—especially appealing for a per diem assignment where you may have stretches of downtime between scheduled coverage.

  • Per diem call + occasional weekday shifts
  • Autonomous solo call environment
  • OB + regional anesthesia experience needed
