Hyperbaric Medicine / Wound Care Physician – Valencia, CA

Assignment Details

* Start Date: December

* Length: 13 weeks

* Schedule: 9-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

* Patient Volume: Approximately 8 patients per day

* EMR: Meditech

* Practice Setting: Outpatient Hyperbaric Medicine / Wound Care

Requirements

* Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine

* UHM certification or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) experience required

* ACLS and BLS

Clinical Details

* 2 hyperbaric chambers

* Hyperbaric technician always on staff

* 1 Podiatrist on staff

* Approximately 15–20% diabetic wound cases

Primary Procedures & Responsibilities

* Diabetic wound management

* Management of radiation tissue injury

* Treatment of soft-tissue radionecrosis

* Osteomyelitis management

* Complex wound care
