Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join a well-established academic hospital in Missouri. This full-time assignment offers a predictable weekday schedule, exposure to a wide variety of complex surgical cases, and the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative anesthesia team at a Level I Trauma Center.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: October 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Coverage
• Call Requirement: No Call
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with staggered start times between 7:00 AM–10:00 AM
• Shift Details: 4x10-hour shifts with one rotating weekday off

Work Details
• Specialty: Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA)
• Practice Model: Medically Directed
• Support Staff: Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, Surgeons, and Perioperative Staff
• Patient Population: Adult
• Hospital Size: 316 Beds
• EMR: Epic
• Case Mix: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Trauma, Obstetrics, and Cardiac Procedures
• Required Experience: Recent Level I Trauma experience (required with no exceptions)

Practice Setting
• Academic/Teaching Hospital
• Inpatient Hospital Environment
• Full-Time Scheduled Coverage
• Collaborative, Team-Based Anesthesia Department

Requirements
• Board Certification: NCCAA
• Level I Trauma Experience: Required (No Exceptions)
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 Days
• Temporary privileges may be available for qualified providers with a clean credentialing history to help meet the anticipated start date.
