Locum CAA Clinical Preceptor - Nashville, TN | No Call | Teaching Opportunity | Flexible Schedule

Job description

Assignment Details:

Start: ASAP upon credentialing
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Schedule: 5x8s or 4x10s with flexibility for nights and weekends if desired
No call required
Contract: 6 months
Cross credentialing at Williamson Medical Center

Practice Details:

Medical Direction model
Clinical Preceptor opportunity supporting a new CAA training program
Providers will initially practice clinically before transitioning into a precepting role
Large, high-acuity practice with 80+ operating rooms
No block responsibilities
EMR: Epic, Meditech, and Medaxion

Cases:
Broad case mix including neuro, spine, thoracic, vascular, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, healthy pediatrics, and women's services. Cardiac cases are managed by a dedicated cardiac team.

Requirements:

3-4+ years of clinical CAA experience
Prior precepting or teaching experience preferred
Graduate of an accredited CAA program
Current certification and eligibility for Tennessee licensure

Additional Info:

Student precepting model utilizes a 1:1 student-to-provider ratio
Additional specialty experiences available through affiliated locations
Providers must reside more than 60 miles from the practice location
Medical Malpractice provided by Anesthesia OnCall
