POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a long-term assignment in Florida. This opportunity offers a flexible shift structure within a collaborative care team environment. Candidates must be comfortable practicing in both the Main Operating Room and Obstetrics (OB) settings.

Only out-of-state candidates will be considered for this opportunity.

SCHEDULE & SHIFT DETAILS

Shift Options: 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour shifts

Main OR Shifts:

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

10-hour and 12-hour shifts available

OB Shifts:

Two 24-hour shifts per rotation

Occasional 12-hour shifts

Consecutive shifts available

No weekend requirements

No call requirements

Primary assignments will be in the Main OR (8–10 hour shifts), with flexibility required to support OB coverage (12–24 hour shifts) as needed.

FACILITY & PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT

8 Operating Rooms (6 ORs + NORA + OB)

No trauma designation

EMR: Cerner

Care Team Model: 12 CRNAs / 6 MDs

Medically directed supervision model

OB coverage 24/7 with dedicated in-house CRNA

In-house MD coverage (OB suite & OR) with MD backup call

OB rotation: Monday – Sunday (5-person rotation)

OR schedule: Monday – Friday

Approximately 160 OB deliveries per month

OB experience is required. Candidates must be willing to work both Main OR and OB shifts. OB-only providers will not be accepted.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Clean file only (no legal issues, malpractice claims, or pending cases)

Must provide a copy of an out-of-state driver’s license at time of submission

No other proof of out-of-state residence will be accepted

Minimum 24 months of case logs required

Required experience in OB and Regional Blocks

Board Eligible accepted (within 5 years of graduation)

If 3+ years post-graduation and not board certified, a detailed explanation is required

Must maintain active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

All certifications must be active

LICENSURE

Florida license required

Open to non-licensed providers with full-time availability

Proof of license application required to begin credentialing

Active Florida license must be submitted before the file is sent to the Medical Staff Office
