Job description

📍 Location: Illinois
📅 Start Date: June 2026 (upon credentialing)
📆 Contract: Ongoing Locums Assignment
🕒 Schedule:
• 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) or 3 x 12-hour shifts
• 4 weeks per month
• Scheduled shifts only – No Call

Patient Population: Adults (18+) primarily; occasional healthy pediatric cases (BMT, T&A, occasional appendectomy)

🏥 Practice Setting: Community Hospital

🧪 Procedures: Bread & butter anesthesia cases. Strong proficiency in MAC and General Anesthesia required. No regional, OB, thoracic, or cardiac experience required.

✅ Additional Information:
• Start: June 2026 (credentialing ~3.5 months)
• Support Staff:
– 19–23 supervising anesthesiologists per shift
– 10–20 CRNAs scheduled daily
– CRNAs are medically directed (not independent practice)
• EMR: Epic (minimum 2 years required)
• Orientation: Typically 1 day (may extend to 2–3 days)
• Requirements:
– 2+ years of CRNA experience
– DEA not required
– Client is willing to assist with Illinois licensing if needed
