CRNA Needed | Fort Kent, Maine | Ongoing Locums Assignment
Position Overview
A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is needed for an ongoing locums assignment in northern Maine. This is an all-CRNA practice offering a predictable rotation schedule, light daily hours, and paid travel and lodging.
Assignment Details
Start Date: February 23, 2026
End Date: August 21, 2026
Number of Providers Needed: 1 CRNA
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Schedule
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call:
Optional if desired
Typical call hours: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
30-minute response time
Practice Setting
Hospital-based anesthesia practice
All-CRNA model
Independent practice environment
Case Mix
CRNA must be proficient in:
Endoscopy
Gynecology
General Surgery
Urology
Spinals
Epidurals
Regional anesthesia and blocks, including:
Rectus sheath blocks
QL blocks
Femoral / Adductor Canal blocks
TAP blocks
Interscalene blocks
Case Logs
Case logs required for:
Spinals
Blocks
Epidurals
Patient Population
Adult patients
EMR
Cerner
Requirements
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Active Maine CRNA license required (applications cannot begin without it)
ACLS, BLS, PALS
ACLS must be AHA certified
Strong regional anesthesia skillset
Credentialing
Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
Temporary privileges available with a clean file
Compensation
$230/hour
