Position Overview
A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist is needed for an ongoing night-shift locums assignment in the Asheville metro area. This opportunity offers consistent overnight coverage, a broad case mix, and a collaborative care team environment.

Assignment Details
Start Date: March 9, 2026
End Date: September 6, 2026 (ongoing potential)
Shift Type: Nights

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Weekends not required but preferred

Practice Setting
Hospital-based anesthesia practice
Care Team Model
Support staff available
No CAAs

Case Mix
General Surgery
Orthopedics
Endoscopy
Urology
GYN
Robotics
Neuro / Spine
Very limited Pediatrics
Exclusions / Notes:
No craniotomies
No transplant cases
Dedicated teams cover trauma and cardiac
CRNAs should be comfortable across service lines, as exposure to neuro, cardiac, or peds may occur

Requirements
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Active North Carolina CRNA license required
Minimum 2 years of experience
Strong clinical skills across multiple service lines
Clean credentialing file required for temporary privileges

Credentialing
Standard credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
Temporary privileges possible with a clean file

Compensation
Up to $240/hour
Travel & Lodging
Travel and lodging reimbursed with receipts
No flat stipends
Local candidates preferred
