Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide full-time coverage at a well-established hospital in North Carolina. This position offers a consistent schedule, diverse case mix, and the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative anesthesia team in a state-of-the-art facility.
Assignment Details
• Start Date: May, 2026
• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
• Call: None

Work Details
• Specialty: CRNA – Anesthesiology
• Patient Volume: 60+ cases per day
• Patient Population: All ages
• Department Overview:
– 20 Operating Rooms (general, orthopedic, gynecology, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, neuro, trauma)
– 5 NORA locations including IR, EP, Endoscopy, MRI
• EMR System: Epic
• Equipment: Drager anesthesia machines; Philips monitoring
• Preferred Skills: Experience in vascular, neuro, and pediatrics; cardiac experience helpful but not required
• Scope Notes: CRNAs will not be required to manage hearts and lungs at this facility
Practice Setting
• Hospital-based anesthesiology department
Requirements
• License: Active North Carolina license required – Willing to license for Compact license only
• Board Certification: Required – CRNA
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years required (no new graduates)
• Certifications: ACLS and PALS required
Credentialing Timeframe
• Approximately 60–90 days
