Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Shift: Full-time, 5×8s; 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with 30-minute
Start Date: 10/19/2026
End Date: 03/31/2027, with option to extend

Position Details:
Patient Population: Pediatric and Adult
Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center
Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia services in an outpatient surgical setting; medical direction 1:3; regular OR supervision and solo coverage in Endoscopy
Required Procedures: Orthopedic, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, ENT, Dental, and General Surgery
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Anesthesiologist available in the building; Medical Direction 1:3
Days Per Month: Full-time, 40 hours/week
On-Call/Weekends: No call specified

CRNA Certified - Required
Active PA license or Compact license - Required
ACLS - Required
BLS - Required
PALS - Required
NPDB Self-Query within 6 months of presentation - Required
Full malpractice disclosure - Required
CV - Required

Approximately 6–15 patients/day depending on room assignment
Outpatient surgery center with 4 ORs
No open-ended presentations unless the role is full-time and can accept part-time coverage
Specific availability dates must be clearly stated
Malpractice settlement over $500K is outside screening criteria
More than 3 malpractice settlements is outside screening criteria; cases over 20 years old may be considered
Health requirements include vaccines, physical, and fit requirements
Temporary privileges may be available for urgent needs and clean, non-complex files
