CRNA Needed | Charleston Metro Area
A Level I Trauma hospital in the Charleston, South Carolina metro area is seeking an experienced CRNA for a locum tenens assignment with strong case variety and a collaborative care-team model. This is an excellent opportunity for providers who enjoy a fast-paced academic-style environment while living near the coast.
Assignment Details
Location: Charleston, SC
Start Date: April 6, 2026
End Date: October 4, 2026
Providers Needed: 1 CRNA
Commitment: Minimum 3 months (extension possible)
Schedule
10-hour shifts: 6:00am – 4:30pm
Two Fridays and two Mondays off per month
No nights required
Practice Setting
Level I Trauma hospital
Medically directed anesthesia model
Large academic-style facility with broad specialty coverage
Flexibility required to work across multiple hospital areas
Case Mix
Bread & butter anesthesia
Orthopedics (primary focus)
Endoscopy
Some vascular cases
Adolescent patients (ages 14–15 for sports injuries)
No requirement to regularly cover high-acuity subspecialties

Requirements
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Minimum 3 years of experience required
Active South Carolina license (must be in good standing)
NPDB report required for presentation
Epic EMR experience preferred
Provider must live at least 60 miles from the facility (address verified)

Compensation
$235/hr all-inclusive
Or
$220/hr + travel & lodging
Offsite orientation paid at a $250 flat rate
Airline expenses not covered unless otherwise approved
