CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity | East Texas
A small critical access hospital in East Texas is seeking an experienced CRNA for a locum tenens assignment due to ongoing recruiting needs. This is a highly desirable, long-running locums site with excellent provider satisfaction and schedule flexibility.
Assignment Details
Location: East Texas (approximately 2 hours southeast of Dallas; 3 hours north of Houston)
Start Date: June 9, 2026
End Date: August 15, 2026
Providers Needed: 1 CRNA (FTE)
Minimum Commitment: 3 months
Preferred Commitment: 4–6 months or longer
Schedule & Flexibility
Monday–Friday
Primary schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts
Alternative options:
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Full-time (4 weeks per month)
Flexibility required: Ability to switch to 4 × 10-hour shifts as needed (schedule changes communicated one week in advance)
No call
No nights

Digital anesthesia machines
Syringe pumps
Video laryngoscopy
Requirements
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Active Texas license required
Comfortable practicing independently
Ability to manage a broad case mix
Strong clinical experience preferred
Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: 6–8 weeks
Compensation Options

$210/hr + roundtrip flight, rental car, and lodging
$220/hr + mileage and lodging
$230/hr + mileage only
