Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide ongoing coverage at a premier medical center in Virginia. This position offers a consistent schedule, high-acuity case exposure, and the opportunity to work alongside a large, collaborative anesthesia team in a Level 1 trauma environment.
Assignment Details
• Start Date: April 2026
• Schedule: Day shifts, scheduled – no call
• Shift Structure: Four 10-hour shifts per week (option for 3x12s)
• Weekend Coverage: Saturdays and Sundays preferred if available
• Credentialing Timeframe: Minimum 30 days

• Patient Population: Ages 13 through end of life
• Department Overview:
• Level 1 trauma center
• Team includes approximately 60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents
• Coverage across 33 main ORs, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, and 3–4 GI center rooms
• EMR System: Epic
• Hospital Size: 600 beds
• Scope of Practice: Full CRNA scope
• Cases Not Required: Open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and peripheral nerve blocks

Requirements
• Licensure: Active Virginia license required
• Board Certification: Required
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years CRNA experience
• One year in an Academic Medical Center or Level 1 trauma center required
• Experience with ASA 3+ patients strongly preferred
• Outpatient-only candidates may be considered, but recent inpatient experience is strongly preferred
