Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric
Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Level I Trauma Center
Responsibilities: Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Surgery, GYN, Endoscopy, and Pediatrics
Required Procedures: Level I Trauma experience required
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Medical Direction (loosely)
Days Per Month: Full-time; 40 hours/week guaranteed
On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekend availability required

Additional Details:

6–12 month contracts with option to extend
No 24-hour shifts
No cardiac and no OB
OT after scheduled shift
Must be available to work full-time and Fridays
5×8-hour or 5×10-hour shifts
Must have Level I Trauma experience
Locum CRNAs receive the same permissions/access as permanent providers
Flexible with RTO requests
Carilion-specific skills checklist required

Travel covered, including airfare, lodging, and rental car, or travel stipend up to $3,500/month
Client responsible for application fees and credentialing/privileging costs

Requirements:

Board Certified
Active Virginia license or  Compact accepted
Willing to obtain Virginia license - Yes
Level I Trauma experience - Required
