WHAT YOUR DAY/WEEK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE

This is a busy hospital-based assignment where flexibility matters. Providers need to be willing to work a mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts and provide coverage across two Richmond-area locations.

Clinically, expect a broad and higher-acuity case mix with Level I Trauma exposure and significant OB volume. You'll work within an anesthesia care-team model, with anesthesiologists supervising between one and three ORs.

Weeknight and weekend pager call is also part of the assignment, so this is better suited to someone who wants a clinically active locums role rather than a predictable outpatient-style schedule.

🎯 Best Fit

Experienced CRNA with recent high-acuity hospital experience who is comfortable with Level I Trauma, OB, varied shift lengths, and pager call. Flexibility is particularly important because providers must also be willing to cover more than one Richmond-area location.

📍 Geographic Hook

Richmond is an easy city to settle into for a multi-month assignment—you get a strong restaurant scene, neighborhoods with plenty going on, and the James River right through the city for trails and outdoor time. On longer stretches off, you’re also positioned well for trips toward the Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia coast, or Washington, D.C.
