Locum Anesthesiologist Need; CA

Job description

In need of full time anesthesia clinic coverage starting in April 2026. Schedule will be Monday- Friday from 7am-4pm. Would prefer one physician who has full time availability but will look at providers to pair coverage. Ex: (one provider who can cover 1 month on 1 month off and one to work opposite of them. Or 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off with another provider working opposite of them).

No call in this position.

Currently there are no other providers working here. We will update provider confirmed with an outline on orientation once that is outlined. More than likely they will have another provider come over from another site to help orient.

We are also seeking additional information on day to day responsibilities and will get that added to this posting as soon as it is outlined. The work will be less critical cases.


REQUIRED:
- CA License and CA DEA
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
o Typical privileging timeline is 90 days
o Once the file is completed, we can look at temporary privilege eligibility.
o All HBS specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty.
o Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.
o Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties.
