New Opportunity Located in Southern CA with Aya Locums: Anesthesiologist

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for a hospital-based assignment in Southern California, starting in late February 2026. This is a high-acuity, Level I trauma setting with weekday-only coverage and no call.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: February 2026
• Contract Length: 3+ months
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift Length: 12 or 14 hour shifts (6:30a–7:00p or 6:30a–9:00p)
• Minimum Commitment: 6+ shifts per month
• Full-time preferred
• Call: None

Work Details
• Care Model: Medical direction model with supervision of CRNAs; may perform solo cases
• Case Mix: Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Surgery, Neuro, ENT, Vascular, GI
• Pediatric Cases: None
• Special Procedures: Vent management, central lines, arterial lines, PA catheter placement
• Vascular cases excluding open heart
• EMR: Epic

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• State License: Active California license required
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years
