Anesthesiology Locums - Bay Area California

Job description

Seeking trauma-experienced anesthesiologists for a high-acuity, no-call opportunity in the bay area of CA. This 6-month locum assignment offers consistent night and weekend coverage at a busy Level I Trauma Center.

Position Overview
- Start Date: June 8, 2026
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Schedule: Nights and weekends only
- Minimum Coverage: 3–4 shifts per month required
- No call

Shift Details
- Weeknight shifts: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM (16 hours)
- Weekend day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12 hours)
- Weekend night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12 hours)

Providers must be able to commit to at least 3–4 night or weekend shifts per month.

Practice Setting
- Hospital-based
- Level I Trauma Center
- EMR: Epic

Requirements
- Board Certified, Board Eligible
- Active California license required
- California DEA required
- BLS required
- Minimum Level II Trauma experience required
- Level I Trauma experience highly preferred
- Must be comfortable in L&D and Trauma
- New grads will be considered
