Job description
A busy hospital in the Orlando metro area (Kissimmee, Florida) is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist (MD/DO) for a high-acuity assignment beginning June 2026. This is a cardiac-focused role within a large care team model at a Level II Trauma Center.
Assignment Overview
Start: June 8, 2026 (approx. 90-day credentialing)
Length: Through November 29, 2026
Shifts Available:
7A–3P
7A–5P
8s, 10s, 16s, and 24s (7A start)
Call Required: Yes
Weeknight call: 3P or 5P – 7A
Weekend call: 24-hour (no split call)
Rotating 1 week on / 1 week off
Temporary privileges available.

10 Operating Rooms
EMR: Epic
90% supervision model
Care Team: 8 MDs / 24 CRNAs
~900 cases per month (10,000 annually)
Cardiac volume: ~550 hearts annually
OB volume: ~100 deliveries per month

Requirements
Board Certified (Cardiac Anesthesiology)
Active Florida License and DEA prior to presentation
ACLS
ATLS
TB within past 12 months
Flu vaccine within past 12 months
100% clean file (no malpractice, legal, or pending cases)
Current CV and skills checklist required at submission
