Job description

Practice at a Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in Pensacola, offering a diverse case mix and a well-established anesthesia environment.

Monday–Friday coverage with 7a–3p day shifts
Call coverage available and providers willing to take call are prioritized
Large 582-bed hospital with 40 ICU beds
39 anesthetizing sites
Mix of medical direction/supervision and personally performed cases
Approximately 20% personally performed anesthesia care
CRNAs are medically directed/supervised by anesthesiologists
Broad case mix including Bariatrics, ENT, IR, GYN, Podiatry, Spine, Urology, Endoscopy, OMFS, Dental and Plastics
Pediatric cases – providers comfortable with all pediatric ages strongly preferred
Light OB coverage, including high-risk cases
Labor epidurals performed by both CRNAs and physicians
12-hour call coverage available
EMR: Cerner
Active Florida license and DEA strongly preferred
PALS, ACLS and BLS required
24 months of recent case logs required for credentialing
Temporary privileges may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Must reside more than 60 minutes from the facility
Orientation required prior to starting
