Job description

Anesthesiologist Needed in Central Georgia
Start Date: June 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (4 days per week, 10-hour shifts)
Call required
Additional call coverage expected

Practice Details

Acute care hospital
36 anesthesia rooms
Staffing model: MD supervision of CRNAs (4:1 ratio)
MDs supervise and may perform own cases
Coverage may include main hospital, ASC, and children’s hospital
Charting: Epic

Clinical Scope

Case types include:

General
Cardiac
Neuro
Orthopedics
OB
Pediatrics

Pediatric experience preferred
Mix of supervision and hands-on cases

Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified or Fellowship Trained
Active Georgia license preferred (willing to license)
DEA required
Must be willing to take call

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: approximately 90 days
Full hospital onboarding required

Location

Central Georgia — hospital setting approximately 1–1.5 hours south of the Atlanta metro area.
