Anesthesiologist Needed in Southwestern Illinois
Start Date: April 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts)
No call
No additional shift requirements

Practice Details

Acute care hospital
20 anesthesia rooms
Staffing model: MD supervision of CRNAs (2:1 ratio)
MDs supervise and perform own cases
Charting: iPro & Epic

Clinical Scope

Case types include:

General
Orthopedics
OB

Mix of supervision and hands-on cases

Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified or Fellowship Trained
Active Illinois license required (no licensing offered)
DEA required

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: approximately 60 days
Full hospital onboarding required

Location

Southwestern Illinois — hospital setting within the greater Metro East region, just east of the St. Louis metropolitan area.
