Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist to provide daytime coverage for an outpatient gastroenterology practice in Illinois. This assignment offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, no call responsibilities, and the opportunity to support two busy GI procedure rooms in an ambulatory setting.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: October 2026; ASAP availability preferred
• Coverage Type: Scheduled coverage with no call
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift: Day shift
• Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Daily Coverage: Two GI procedure rooms

Work Details
• Specialty: Anesthesiology – Gastroenterology (GI)
• Patient Population: Adults
• Procedures: GI and endoscopy anesthesia
• Support Staff: GI/endoscopy clinical and procedural support staff
• Skills Required: Ability to independently provide anesthesia for GI/endoscopy procedures in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Practice Setting
• Outpatient/Ambulatory GI Clinic
• Clinic or Private Practice Setting
• Daytime coverage only
• No call requirements

Requirements
• License: Active Illinois medical license or willingness to obtain
• Preferred Experience: Prior GI/endoscopy anesthesia experience
