Anesthesiologist Needed in Southern North Carolina
Start Date: June 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Schedule

Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
No call
No additional shift options

Practice Details

Acute care hospital
Trauma Level III/IV (Adult)
Staffing model: MD supervision of CRNAs (1:4 ratio)
19 anesthesia rooms
MDs both supervise and perform own cases
Charting: iPro

Clinical Scope

Case types include:

General
Cardiac
Neuro
Orthopedics
OB
Pediatrics

Mix of supervision and hands-on cases

Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified or Fellowship Trained
Active North Carolina license required (no licensing offered)
DEA required

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: approximately 105 days
Full hospital onboarding required

Location

Southern North Carolina — hospital setting within driving distance to the South Carolina border and approximately 1–1.5 hours from the Raleigh metro area.
