Anesthesiology physician needed in Wilmington, NC

Job description

Anesthesiology opportunity in Wilmington, North Carolina available. This is a 13-week assignment offering flexible 8 or 10-hour shifts with no call required.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00am – 3:00pm (8-hour shifts)
• OR 7:00am – 5:00pm (10-hour shifts)
• No call
• Start date: April 2026
• 13-week assignment

Practice Details:

• Acute Care Hospital setting
• Case mix includes: General, Cardiac, Ortho, OB, and Pediatrics
• 50 anesthesia rooms
• Supervision model (MD supervising CRNAs)
• MDs do not typically perform their own cases
• EMR: Epic
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: ~120 days (emergency privileges available)

Requirements:

• Board Certified Anesthesiologist
• Completion of accredited Anesthesia residency
• Active North Carolina license (licensing not available)
