Cardiac Anesthesiologist Needed in Asheville, NC | $430/hr + T&L

Job description

Cardiac Anesthesiologist opportunity available in Asheville, NC for an ASAP start and a minimum 6-month assignment, with the potential to extend.

Providers will work primarily 10-12 hour shifts Monday-Friday in a care team model. The position is mainly supervisory with a 1:3 or 1:4 MD-to-CRNA ratio, although physicians may work their own cases if preferred. Call is required approximately 15% of the time, with some weekend coverage possible.

The cardiovascular case mix includes Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, TAVR, CABG, and MitraClip procedures, with approximately 10-15 CV cases per day. Providers must also be comfortable covering OB, Trauma, Neuro, Urology, Orthopedics, and other vascular cases.
