Anesthesiologist needed in PA! Make up to $325/hr + Travel/lodging. Low volume.

Job description

Rural PA
• Start date: 3/3/25 - ongoing

General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Pain Management, podiatry, urology, gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nephrology.
Supervisions of CRNA? Yes, will oversee the CRNAs in the daylight hours for scheduled surgeries. 3-4, depending on case volume.
Will need to cover at least a week per month (2 weeks preferred).
Open to 7on/off
Mon-Fri:
7am - 4pm: Hourly
4pm - 7am: Night Call
Sat / Sun:
7a-7a: 24 Hour Call shifts

Work Details:
• 5,500 surgical procedures performed annually are derived from orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, pain management, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, and gastroenterology
• EMR/Charting Software: Meditech
• Avg. Daily Census: Average callback: 0-2, very limited as Cole is a critical access hospital. Mainly would be OB; most other cases are held until the next morning for nights.
• Patient Age Group: 10% peds 90% adult
• Procedures: Epidurals: Site only has 200-250 births a year. You might have 3-5 epidurals a week. Sometimes more, occasionally none. Will not attend all deliveries. They are only required to come in to place epidurals if requested, not monitor. They are required to come in for c-sections.
