Anesthesiologist Needed in South‑Central Pennsylvania
Start Date: April 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule

Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shifts)
Beeper call from home
Standard weekday OR schedule
Overtime possible depending on case load


Practice Details

Acute care hospital
Staffing model: 1 MD supervising 3 CRNAs
ORs: 5 operating rooms + 2 endoscopy rooms + 1 cath lab + OB care team
MDs primarily supervise but may perform own cases when needed
EMR: Epic


Clinical Scope

Case types include:

OB
Orthopedics
Pediatrics
Vascular
ENT
GI
No hearts
No neuro/head cases


Mix of supervision and hands‑on
Case logs may be requested for privileging


Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified
Active Pennsylvania license (no willingness to license)
DEA required
Additional certifications per facility standards
Experience supervising CRNAs preferred


Credentialing

Estimated privileging: ~30 days
Full hospital onboarding required


Location
South of Harrisburg, PA — weekday schedule with home beeper call.
