Anesthesiologist Needed in Northeastern Pennsylvania
Start Date: May 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Day shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts)
Call negotiable (preferred)
Minimal overtime

Practice Details

Acute care hospital
12 anesthesia rooms
Staffing model: MD supervision of CRNAs (2–3:1 ratio)
Opportunity to perform own cases (not mandatory)
Charting: Epic (including intra-op documentation)

Clinical Scope

Case types include:

Orthopedics
General bread and butter
Rare Pediatrics
OB (negotiable)

No Neuro/Head cases

Mix of supervision and optional hands-on cases

Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified or Fellowship Trained
Must be comfortable supervising CRNAs
Active Pennsylvania license required (no licensing offered)
DEA required

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: approximately 90 days
Full hospital onboarding required

Location

Northeastern Pennsylvania — community hospital setting in the Pocono region, within driving distance to the New Jersey border and approximately 1.5–2 hours from the Philadelphia metro area.
