About the clinician's workday

The anesthesiologist will deliver comprehensive cardiac anesthesia services for specialized cardiac procedures, obstetric cases, and general surgical procedures across adult and obstetric patient populations. The clinician will work day shifts or provide 24-hour cardiac coverage with beeper call responsibilities requiring 30-minute response time. Primary duties include conducting thorough pre-operative patient assessments, managing complex cardiac anesthesia delivery, and supervising certified registered nurse anesthetists when needed. The position requires board certification in Anesthesiology with active Pennsylvania medical licensure and ACLS certification while utilizing Epic EMR for all patient documentation and care coordination across over 30,000 annual cases at this Trauma Level II facility.
