About the clinician's workday

The anesthesiologist will assist in directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department, operating across 6 anesthesia rooms during day shifts with call coverage required. Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and verifying patient consent, and discussing anesthetic options and risks with patients. The clinician will manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia while monitoring patients' physiological conditions throughout surgical and medical procedures. Clinical interventions will be performed as needed, and the position operates under a supervision model with a 1 MD to 4 CRNA staffing ratio.
