Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Somerset, PA

Job description

Start: December | Ongoing
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30a-3:30p or 5:30p
Call required: weeknight call 5:30p-7a (very rare, no OB), 24-hour weekend call (light, about one case per day); in-house, telephone, and beeper
Practice model: Two physicians onsite, mostly CRNA supervision with hands-on care as needed
Volume: About 16-20 cases per day; 90% adult, 10% pediatric
Cases: General anesthesia, Regional, Orthopedics, basic orthopedic blocks
Must be comfortable with pediatric and regional anesthesia, and willing to take weeknight and 24-hour weekend call
No OB
Board Certified or Board Eligible accepted
Requirements: PA license (candidates willing to obtain one will be considered), ACLS, 1 year minimum
Travel expenses covered: airfare, lodging, mileage, parking, rental car, ground transportation
$330/hr + T&L
