Anesthesiologist Needed in North Texas
Start Date: April 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

5 shifts per week
10- or 12-hour shifts only
Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM–4:30 PM
Wednesday: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
No call
Guaranteed 50 hours per week
Overtime after 50 hours
Schedule released 90 days in advance
Option for 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation

Practice Details

Acute care academic hospital
Staffing model: MD supervision of CRNAs (1:2–1:4 ratio)
MDs primarily supervise
Local providers receive priority consideration

Clinical Scope

General cases
ENT available
Minimal trauma

No hearts
No heads
No pediatrics
No chest cases

Requirements

Physician – Anesthesiology
Board Certified or Fellowship Trained
Active Texas license required (no licensing offered)
DEA required

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: 30–45 days
Full hospital onboarding required

Location

North Texas — major academic medical center setting within the greater Dallas–Fort Worth metro area.
