Locum Anesthesiologist opening near Ashton Glen, VA – Ongoing Assignment – Bread & Butter + Ortho Blocks

Job description

• Assignment: Ongoing, start ASAP
• Shift Type: Preferred 12-hour (7 AM – 7 PM), will consider 10-hour (7 AM – 5 PM); Full-Time availability
• Cases: Bread & Butter anesthesia; regional blocks for Ortho if comfortable; healthy pediatric dental cases optional; No Neuro
• Supervision: MDs performing own cases; FLOAT or Charge MD supervising CRNAs
• CRNA to MD Ratio: 1:3 or 1:4, with 1–2 additional MDs at each facility
• Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 4 ORs + 1 SPD, Cardiac and OB coverage
• Call/OT: No anticipated OT; call optional if interested
• Practice Model: Varies depending on staffing
• Charting System: EPIC (Electronic)
• Credentialing: 90 days; cross-credentialing at 2 sites
• Licensure: VA preferred
