Locum Anesthesiologist needed near Barboursville, WV – Ongoing Assignment

Job description

• Assignment: Ongoing, start ASAP
• Daily Staff: 4 MDs, 18 CRNAs at hospital; 1 MD, 3 CRNAs at ASC
• Supervision/Practice Model: Medical direction 1:3 or 1:4; CRNAs mostly autonomous with strong MD collaboration
• Cases: Regional, trauma, bread & butter, most general cases; excludes transplants, pediatrics, OB; no CV for locums
• Call: Beeper from home – 1st & 2nd CRNA layers; 3rd call is 24-hr shift (not extra); no post-call day off; call back is rare
• Notes: Minimal call burden; supportive team environment
