Cardiac Surgery NP/PA Locum Opportunity – Fountain Valley, CA

Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Start: 5/11 or as soon as credentialed
Assignment Length: 26 weeks (extension possible)
Local candidates preferred (all-inclusive rate required for travel candidates)

**Schedule:**

* 4x10-hour shifts per week
* Shift times: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
* Occasional weekend days may be required
* No call

**Practice Setting:**

* Hospital (260 beds)
* EMR: Epic
* Collaborative team of APPs and surgeons

**Work Details:**

* Patient volume: ~10 per day
* Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative care, ICU management, rounding, and discharges
* Chest tube removal experience preferred but not required

**Requirements:**

* Board Certified NP or PA
* Active California license required
* DEA required
* BLS and ACLS required (CALS preferred)
* 3–5 years of experience required
* Clean background with no malpractice required

**Credentialing:**

* Approximately 30–60 days
