Cardiology NP/PA coverage in Asheville, NC

Position Details
• Role: Experienced Cardiology PA or NP
• Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Type: Locums (6-month duration)
• Timeline: Projected start July 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026

Scope of Work
• Setting: General cardiology floor coverage and step-down unit (Non-ICU work)
• Duties: * Daily rounding on floor-level patients and consultations
o Writing daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, and discharge summaries
o Ordering medications, testing, and procedures as indicated
o Performing new consults alongside attending MD
• Support Staff: Hospitalist Medicine and Cardiology; Pulm CC and CV Surgery support available as needed

Requirements
• Licensure: MUST have active NC License and NC DEA at the time of presentation
• Experience: Previous experience in Cardiology as a PA or NP is required
