Job description

Cardiology APP (NP/PA) locum opportunity in Asheville, NC available. This role offers both day and night shift options within an inpatient cardiology service.

Schedule:
• Start: August 2026
• Ongoing coverage
• 12-hour shifts
• Day shifts: 7:00am – 7:00pm (primarily covering days)
• Night shifts: 7:00pm – 7:00am

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Inpatient cardiology service (floor and stepdown, non-ICU)
• Mix of rounding, consults, admissions, and discharges
• Opportunity to assist with procedures (lines, cardioversion, etc.)
• Strong support from hospitalists, cardiology, and specialty teams
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements:
• Board Certified NP or PA
• Active NC license (required at submission)
• Active NC DEA required

Credentialing:
• Approximately 60–90 days
